I primarily create functional art using aluminum, steel, copper, and
wood as the main media. I also throw in the occasional motorcycle
tire and other various things that can be recycled into my art. My
inspiration comes from anything and everything - I could see a
crack in a sidewalk which could inspire a design for a table - I am
always thinking of something to create.
My functional art includes candle holders, frames, mirrors,
business card holders, coasters, lamps, and tables.
My non functional art includes sculptures, wall pieces, jewelry
pieces and collaborated work.
The machining on the business card holders and coasters is done
on a computer controlled milling machine. I do the design work
using computer aided design (CAD) process. This process allows
flexibility in the designs and has enabled me to do many custom
pieces.
